Description
The woodland floor is barefoot soft,
Golden butterflies float aloft.
Wildflowers all in bloom,
The fairy tales are beginning soon.
Forest children gather round,
Awaiting the fairy’s magic sound.
At this time, when morning breaks,
The fairy made of stone awakes.
She reads her wondrous tales aloud,
To the small, but faithful crowd;
Those who’ve gathered amongst the trees,
The little children who still believe.
They believe and have no fear,
They believe and so can hear!

i love pictures where light has been captured in a way that you can almost feel its warmth.. That is something Ive never been able to accomplish. this is fantastic...

Before I read the story I thought the statue had to be an Angel because it was reading a book! Just a thing between me and the children I used to teach! Thankful for the joy of art!

You are not only a great painter but also a talented poet. I like what you wrote in your description, especially the last 2 lines.
