Description
Imagination shrinks me till I am very small
And buildings made of Lincoln Logs now seem so awfully tall.
Every nook and cranny a place to now explore,
The world looks awfully different when you’re only inches from the floor.
Then later when I get tired of that little point of view
I imagine that I am big again - big like me and you.
No longer is my world a place where I must crawl,
Now my imagined cares and troubles are not so big at all.

Ah this brings back many wonderful memories of Gramma's house! The Lincoln Logs were the first thing I went for as soon as I walked in her door. Very nice work Greg!

This one I will have to share with that very special person in my life, my husband, Jim, without him I could not do any of the things I am doing now. I am so thankful that God sent him to me. He has shared his childhood memories of playing with these and his syblings on those cold snowy Wisconsin days. I will be sure he gets to see this one and read the story! It is a wonderfully executed painting!

This took me back to years ago, when my only child, my son, was on the floor with his Lincoln logs, or his Legos. He could spend hours putting together his creations. He is now deceased, at the age of 22, so this painting brought tears to my eyes, but it also brought a smile too. Thank you!

Beautiful painting that brings back memories for me watching my brother play with Lincoln Logs. Congrats on your sale, Greg.

AMAZINGLY COOL!. Reminds me of my childhood. Kids nowadays don't play like this anymore. Congratulations on your sale. TRULY AN IMPRESSIVE WORK OF ART. f/v/l

Wow, you must have the patience of a saint. Your detail is perfect. One could spend a lot of time checking for errors but there are NONE. Everything in proportion and perfect harmony. Congrats on your sale. Wonderful poem story too.
